I'm a community ecologist and an open scientist. In
other words, I use open source tools to ask ecological questions about the structure and
dynamics of ecological communities. I manage to answer some of these questions from
time to time.
My main research interest is the structure of species interaction networks. I adress the causes of their variability through space and time, and the consequences of this variability for ecosystem properties. You can read some papers or head over to my blog if you want to see more of what I do.
I'm currently a post-doctoral scientist in the group of Dominique Gravel at the Université du Québec à Rimouski. I'm involved in the Québec Centre for Biodiversity Sciences, the French Ecological Society, and the International Network of Next-Generation Ecologists.
